Sinter-engobes are supplemented by the addition of glass bodies. The surface is much harder and therefore less sensitive to mechanical impacts and scratches. In addition, the denser surface, similar to a glaze, provides a dirt-repellent effect. Our GRAPHITE BLACK sinter-engobe differs from the semi-matt sheen of conventional sinter engobes with its extra matt surface.
