NO. 30 – XENON-GREY / NATURAL ENGOBES

A kind of colouring is our natural engobes. In this case, an engobe of natural minerals is applied to the dried brick blank before the fire. This finely ground clay sludge allows coloration in the earth coloured area. The Engobe enters a firm connection with the brick during the burning process and gives it a lively, nuanced colour scheme.
